We stayed for 2 nights prior to the start of a hiking trip. We thought this was a good hotel with a convenient location to the bus station and an easy walk to the waterfront area. The room was comfortable and the deck we had a great in the evening with a beer from the bar or a cup of coffee in the morning. The breakfast buffet was really good with a mix of foods from eggs to sliced meat and cheeses to fish. Lots of bread options and two different coffee makers. We also had the dinner buffet when we first arrived and the fish soup, salmon, and pork loin were great.

Super early closing time for breakfast, pool, sauna and kitchen.
It's like they don't want you here. It's exhausting having to rush after such a long working hours and long drives, only to be met with not being able to enjoy the pool sauna or eat.
Otherwise, pool, sauna super cozy and comfy beds.

Great stay at the Nordfjord hotel! The breakfast was delicious, we loved the pool/hot tub/sauna access and it is conveniently located in town. Jan went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great!

Vi ankom sent på kvelden, rett før matservering en stengte. Vi ble tatt i mot på en hyggelig måte, og fikk velge om vi ville benytte oss av matserveringen eller benytte det nydelige svømmebassenget, dette var toppen av lykke etter 5 timer i bil! Familierommet var luftig, rent og av god størrelse. Frokosten var også bra (savnet grovt brød) men det var gode alternativer. Vi gir tommel opp og sier «keep up the good work».

Veldig dårlig reingjort rom. Masse støv langs rutene, det låg småsteiner/grus på gulvet og det låg plastboss i sofaen. På badet stod det brukt vannglass frå forrige bruker av rommet. Booket og betalte for et dyrt rom med balkong og utsikt, fikk ikkje balkong, vart plassert på bakkeplan og såg rett i bilen parkert framfor glaset man kunne sjå ut. Lite utvalg i frukosten. Budde der for 4 år siden og sjølv med utskifting av daglig leder er frukosten like skuffande.

What a great hotel! The spa is wonderful (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, pool, more), the rooms are super comfortable, and the food is fantastic. The staff are super friendly and really helpful. This is a beautiful oasis on a beautiful fjord. Special shout out to Tamas, who is fantastic

The best hotel in Nordfjordeid. Customer service is top notch. Once I arrived late at night and the staff was kind enough to have prepared a quick warm meal for me from the buffet that evening.
