Wir hatten die Hälfte eines "tiny house", angeblich 15qm, aber höchstens 11. Total eng, Koffer findet nur auf dem Tisch Platz, keine Möglichkeit, Kleidung zu verstauen.|Ins Bett kommt man nur von einer Seite. Kein Duschgel, nur Handwaschseife.|Im Bad nur ein Handwaschbecken.|Man kommt sich vor wie in einer Zelle.|Das Ganze für einen unverschämten Preis von 200€. Die teuerste Unterkunft auf der ganzen Reise.|Eine Zumutung, wir fühlen uns abgezockt!!

We stayed in The Nest which is underneath the main house. On arrival we could not connect to the internet - the password on the English instructions was wrong. There were many lights not working. The TV did not work - we contacted the host but she was not on-site - she offered for us to use the TV in the main house instead. Leaving three days later the TV still did not work even after the host send someone to "fix" it. The small underbench refridgerator door did not close properly, we had to brace one of the chairs against it to seal it. First use of the dishwasher and it would not run - error code displayed. After some investigation by us it was discovered the intake water valve was switched off.
Good aspects, the bed was comfortable and the sofa couch nice to sit on. The location is very good with a rural outlook and it's very close to Preikestolen and close to the ferry to Lyseboten. There is a very well stocked Joker (the best one we have seen in Norway!) with-in walking distance.
Goysa Gard is in a great location but they need to spend some attention to detail - it's the little things that make a difference.

Wir waren 3 Nächte Ende Juni im „Forest“. Es gibt sowohl positive als auch negative Aspekte aber insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Positiv:
- die Lage! Man wacht mit direktem Blick auf den Fjord auf und hat auch noch Tiere um sich herum
- die Ausstattung (Kaffeemaschine, gute Küchenutensilien, moderne Einrichtung, bequemes Bett)
- ruhige Umgebung mit Terrasse und Möglichkeit zu grillen / Feuer machen
- gute Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin
- Sauberkeit

Negativ:
- die Größe der Unterkunft. Es sind 15qm und man hat wirklich kaum Platz. Wir konnten nur einen Koffer zur Zeit öffnen und mussten sie dann wieder an den Rand stellen um vorbei zu kommen. Beim Waschbecken stößt man sich beim Zähneputzen den Kopf am Regal welches direkt darüber hängt
- es gibt keine Restaurants fussläufig entfernt. Nur zwei Supermärkte die ca 9-18 Uhr geöffnet haben
- die Beschreibung bei Booking war teilweise falsch/veraltet (es hieß es gäbe einen separaten Stauraum und ein Café - gibt es aber beides nicht (mehr))

Beachten Sie, dass die Fähre je nach Saison nur bis 18-20 Uhr fährt (bei uns war es knapp bei der Anreise), aber man kann auch über Stavanger anreisen.

wir hatten den kleinen "Container" gebucht. An dem Tag war es sehr schönes Wetter - es waren 36 Grad in dem Zimmer!!!

Keine Möglichkeit zum Lüften, geschweige denn kochen - was man in einer Ferienwohnung ja gern macht.

Die Gastgeber verstanden nicht, dass das für uns vollkommen unzumutbar war.

Der Kommentar: wir können ja draussen auf der Terrasse sitzen, nachts wird es etwas abkühlen. Allerdings ist die Terrasse ohne Sonneschutz ....!

Für uns einfach: absolut unverschämt und nicht zu empfehlen.

Feels like I lived in a post card for a while... Amazing location & view! Perfect for Pulpit Rock hike! Gøysa Gard offered cozy cabins with incredible views of the Lysefjord. It was the perfect place to relax before conquering Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was ideal for exploring the area. Forsand where Gøysa Gard is located in is also so beautiful. There is a nice view to Lysefjord bridge as well. We especially loved the resident cats! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lysefjord.

Gøysa Gard is a beautiful accomodation and location, with a beautiful view of the Lysefjord. In July we celebrated our wedding here in a small circle of family and friends (around 30 people).

This would not have been possible without Katrin. There are not enough nice words to describe this woman, she is simply AMAZING!!! During the preparations she was so kind, patient and helped us so much in making our wedding perfect.

There is a rustic barn where we had our ceremony and the wedding reception was held in the Farmhouse. Everything, including the accomodation, the food, the service was exceptional and we are so glad that we celebrated our wedding here.

If you're thinking about coming here, do it!

We drove into this gem of a property for a family celebration down a quiet road with majestic views of mountains and the water. A group of goats were playing on rocks by the entry route. We parked the car after a 9 hour drive and were greeted by a very friendly white house cat that roams the grounds. We brought our luggage into our quarters. We used contactless entry with a code to enter. The rooms were very clean and our windows looked out to horses and sheep in a pasture with the fjord in the background. The view was surreal and something you would see on a postcard. The quarters had a full kitchen setup and laundry. We spent the next few days hiking, boating, walking to the nearby beach, fishing, playing games, and celebrating. Our family had a similar experience. The barn next door was used for the celebration and the hosts were stellar. We will use this property again when back in the area. One of the best stays/experiences I have had. Our stay here set the stage for our engagement a few days later!

Nina and Tor Anders are amazing host and the cabin is amazing. It is equipped with all you need and all furnitures are new. The place is magical with the view on the fjord entrance. The beds very comfortable and the rooms are big. ||Outside there are a superb garden, trampoline for kids, some rabbits, the neighbors has pigs that has made my daughter day :)||Nina was available and gave us a tour and fast on replies. ||Perfect place for perfect weekend||We were 7 in total and still plenty room 🙂
