Really nice hotel! I love the concept with the ski slope and the sports shops connected directly to the hotel – such a cool place. The rooms are clean and stylish, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking garage, but you can walk indoors the whole way through the ski area and shops, so it feels more like an experience than a downside. Just follow the Thon Hotel stickers on the floor. I’d happily stay here again, especially if I have a car and need to be somewhere outside of central Oslo. Parking was 100 NOK per night when I stayed – perfectly reasonable!

We stayed here while visiting Oslo. It's only 15-20 minutes on the train and then a 15 minute walk up the hill. The stay was amazing and the best part was the included breakfast. One of the best buffets I've had. So many options and they were all delicious. Our room was great too - comfy beds and large bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

I stumbled upon Thon Hotel Snø after a not-so-fulfilling company lunch, simply looking for a good coffee and maybe some cake. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for its break, and while there was free coffee in the lobby, I was really craving a cappuccino.

I approached a tall, handsome gentleman—whom I assumed was part of the hotel staff—to ask what time the restaurant would reopen. He kindly told me it would only open at 4:30pm, but since I was leaving at 4, I thought I had missed my chance. To my surprise, he smiled and said, “Let’s get you that cappuccino on the house.”

Not only that—he checked with the chef, who was about to start a meeting, and the chef immediately went to the kitchen to prepare some dessert for me. I was truly touched. I wasn’t even a guest at the hotel, yet everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome. From this gentleman’s kindness, to the chef’s thoughtfulness, to the waitress who served me with such warmth—the hospitality was simply outstanding.

This is the kind of experience that stays with you. The next time I visit Oslo, this will definitely be the hotel I choose to stay in. The world would be a much better place if more people were as wonderful as the team here.

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel mit einer eigenen Skihalle. Sehr beeindruckend die Größe und Vielfalt der sportlichen Möglichkeiten hier. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist toll und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das einzige Negative war die Reinigung des Zimmers. Von dem Vormieter lag bis zu unserer Abreise Reste einer Schnell-Imbisskette in unserer Minibar. Ich hoffe mal, das war ein Ausnahmefall und gebe trotzdem 5 Sterne.

Hotellet har en jobb å gjøre med resepsjonen. Dårlig info. når det gjelder parkering, ingen opplysninger om frokost etc.
Ble vist kart om parkering fra ringperm . Etter 1. forsøk, bom i mørket og regn. Tilbake i resepsjonen, fikk vi beskjed om å ta bilde av kartet. "Bare å kjøre",løste seg tilslutt. Etter stopp i parkeringshuset, "1 km." med kronglete dårlig skiltede korridorer ,trapper, heiser inne i bygningen kom vi med all bagasje tilslutt opp til resepsjonen igjen. Mange ord, men vi var ikke alene om opplevelse. Overhørte flere enn oss hadde samme resepsjonist og samme dårlig info. Alt hadde løst seg med en trykksak med kart og annen nødvendig info til alle nye. Det pleier jo også å være en infoperm på rommene, men ingenting der heller!! Mye oppgulp, men sant.
Mye var glemt etter frokosten dagen etter. Bare blide mennesker, god service og overdådig matbord. Etter noen turer ned labyrinten til garasjen så lærte vi vegen også. Alt i alt, så har vi hatt et fint opphold!! Første inntrykket i resepsjonen, var som sagt elendig, så her har dere en stor jobb å gjøre! Opplæring av resepsjonister og INFO, INFO!!
PS: info fra YR på storskjermen var låst i flere dager, 12° og regn.

Great hotel with competitive prices. Stylish and cozy rooms, amazing breakfast and only 25minutes to Oslo via public transportation (10 minutes walk to the station 15 minutes by the train). Seems there might be some issues with parking, but traveling without the car this has been great.

Booked online from the airport the day we arrived in Oslo. Got a room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers at a very decent price. Grabbed a taxi right to the hotel. Front desk workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Tons of fun to have right in the hotel plus a restaurant and bar! The room is a bit tight, but well laid out and VERY CLEAN and quite! Great hot shower with an adjustable shower head and a rain shower head. (Short and tall couples rejoice!) Plenty of space for our luggage and clean comfortable beds! Breakfast is included so we'll find out in the morning what that comes with. Very happy with this last minute booking after such long travels!

Included breakfast (huge buffet) was AMAZING!!! So fresh, so varied, so MUCH! Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and gluten free options not only available but abundant! The service was impeccable, quick replacement of foods, constant cleaning, and hot cooked items and requests done in a timely manner! Multilingual speaking staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. I think the breakfast alone is worth staying the night!

The price is definitely fantastic for Oslo. However, the hotel is located quite far from the city center, so that's something to keep in mind. The worst part about this hotel is the parking — not only is it expensive, but finding your way from the parking area to the hotel feels like a maze.

Also, having just one lady at the reception is not enough — she was answering phone calls and we had to wait quite a while for assistance.

The biggest plus of this hotel is the breakfast, which is absolutely amazing. You can find everything you could possibly dream of for a morning meal.
