The apartment is quite small for a family of four. The sink in kitchen area is the smallest that i have ever encounter. Other than that, everything is fine. It's nice for a short stay.

In fact, our apartment was in Arbins Gate 5. Digital check-in in Arbins Gate 3, very easy and quick. ||Super location, very close from National theater metro station, the Royal Palace, that harbour, City Center. ||The apartment was clean, nicely decorated. Very nice for 2 people...but we were 4... then it is really small and...with only 2 chairs.||I recommend for couples. The street in super quiet, surrounded by Embassies.

Check in was convoluted as they use automated machines in the lobby to issue room keys meaning there is zero flexibility for an earlier check in even if the apartment itself was empty and available. Computer says "no" until 3pm. ||||The machine in our apartment was, of course, out of service so had to double back to where we had just come from. Had there been even a hint of customer service they would have emailed anyone impacted in advance to pass this key fact on. They didn't. Got keys from automated check-in from apartments 15 minute walk away but wasn't also informed of the actual apartment number. After several attempts of getting in touch with the phone ringing out until it was terminated, I finally got through and got the apartment number from a human being. ||||Lobby of the apartment (Arbins Gate) was very knocked about. In addition to the check in machine, the lift was also out of order but the tape on the signs were peeling suggesting they had been there for some time and this wasn't a short term issue that was going to be fixed imminently. All of the communal areas smelt of something. Would equate the smell down our corridor as being similar to dead rats - based on experience probably was dead rats. There were bags of laundry (or maybe dead rats) strewn down the corridor which shows their attention to detail. ||||Apartment itself was broadly ok apart from the fact the bathroom smelt of the toilet and this smell extended into the rest of the apartment. The bedroom was so tiny that one side of the bed was flush against the wall meaning if you needed to get out you had to shuffle to the end. The bed itself didn't have a mattress, more a thin sponge layer thing. This in turn had no mattress protector (I guess on the basis that it wasn't a mattress) so was both uncomfortable and very unhygienic. Back hurt for the whole trip as a consequence. Avoid, avoid and.... oh my God please avoid! Horrific!

From one side Royal Palace, from other - water. Around the corner - Ibsen museum. Almost all the must visit places in a walking distance. ||Kitchen well equipped - oven, dishwasher, big refrigerator, electric stove top.||Room had all the necessaries - table, sofa, bed, chairs.||Mostly we sleep bad during our travels (new place and so) but this time - slept so well!||We really enjoyed our stay. 10/10 from us 🙂

We had a great stay in the apartment. We were only there one night but wished it could have been longer. The building is absolutely beautiful and the apartments are well outfitted. We had really helpful service from the staff and check out was super simple.

I could cry thinking about our stay at Frogner Arbinsgate, for all of the reasons stated by previous posters. Horrible stench as soon as you enter the building and a non-working elevator, which resulted in us lugging our suitcases up a treacherous spiral staircase five flights. Tiny room, even tinier bathroom, barely large enough for one person to stand in. View of a brick wall. No air circulation, non-working TV. I literally cried the first night we stayed there. I would have tried to find someplace else, but it was late after our international flight, and we have two small children who needed to sleep. I have no idea how this place stays in business. And of course there's no staff around to address any of these issues.

Perfect and quiet location, really close to main points of interests and two steps away from the train station ( flytoget ).||Check-in totally automated by a totem in the main entrance, check-out even quicker just by dropping keys in a box. If breakfast included in your package, it will be delivered to your door every morning.||In case you need any help from the staff, it’s enough to contact them by chat via their website and you will have any info in a while.

I stayed at Room 4401 of Colbjornsens Gate 3, one of Frogner Apartment Hotel's buildings in Oslo. The place is very neat & clean and picture perfect. However, I do not recommend this place and here are the reasons why: ||1) The check-in kiosk is located 4 street blocks away (about 7min walk) from the building. Imagine walking in the heavy rain while dragging the heavy suitcases to just do check-in and then have to walk back again to your hotel building. Not a happy picture and certainly not a fun experience. ||2) The room has only ceiling windows because it's on the top floor of a house. When it rains, you have to close windows to prevent water pouring in. And here is the big problem, when the windows are closed, there is no air circulation. You can't turn on the AC because there is no AC. You can't find any electric fans either because you have to phone it to request it. The phone call took only about 40min to get to a customer service rep and it's another story. In the meantime, the room gets hot and stuffy with windows closed. You just can't win here. ||3) In the rainy and windy days, there is a stench from the bathroom drainage openings invades the entire apartment. The whole place smells like a sewage. To be fair, we had one sunny day for our stay and it wan't a problem at all. I guess you just have to order only sunny days for staying at this place.||4) For a person sized 130lb/59kg, the shower place is tiny! Every time I move my hands, my elbows bang on the glass door. I'm just not petite enough for this shower room. ||5) The shower water leaks under the glass door all over in the bathroom. So, you have to clean up the entire bathroom floor after each shower, then you need to shower again after cleaning the floor. It's exhausting. ||6) The building's water pressure is not top floor friendly. For toilet, one flush won't do the job. For shower, it's better than tear drops but certainly not satisfying. ||7) You don't get the option of having your bed made every day and towers changed per your request like any other standard hotels. You only get one set of clean towels and use it carefully. ||||And to be fair, the location is good. The building sits in a nice residential neighborhood. There is a tram line runs by the house but it's not too noisy. The place is right behind the royal park where you can walk through it during the day when the gates are open to the public. I sincerely wish this place to be better because it has a great potential given its good locat
